Brian Largarticha

Mr. Brian Largarticha began actively participating in the personal watercraft community in 2008 when he joined the ‘Socal Watercraft Club’. He was an avid recreationalist who volunteered or participated at special events through club participation. Recreational riding translated to open water endurance races in the Southern California area and through racing he was introduced to K38 Water Safety.

Brian was first certified in K38 Open Water Rescue in 2010 at Morro Bay, California, as well as a rigours extensions through personal watercraft racing as a Course Marshall in 2010 at the IJSBA World Finals in Lake Havasu, Arizona USA.

Brian has assisted K38 Founder Shawn Alladio at numerous events on behalf of others and has gained a lot of operational time underway. Most recently in December of 2012 he assisted in logistics and on water support for a surfing expedition to the Cortes Bank.

He has volunteered as a water safety and logistical specialist for several years on behalf of the Phoenix Patriot Foundation (PPF), a K38 namesake charity supporting wounded warriors for the “Purple Heart Patriots Challenge’.

Brian supported the Santa Barbara Cold Current Standup Paddle Board Races in 2010/11, the IJSBA quakysense World Finals 2010/11 as a Course Marshal, and the United Warriors Survivor Foundation Conference and other events requiring water safety event management.

Brian’s Rescue Water Craft background consists of completing a K38 Kawasaki Mechanic Review course, and K38 Event Management certification, which he uses to support others and donates his time and efforts on behalf of charitable contributions in challenging settings. He is an adjunct instructor for K38.
