K38 Water Safety - Mission Statement
K38 Water Safety is an established and growing family of water
rescue and safety specialists committed to enhancing the occupational
and recreational use of the PWC (personal watercraft). Homeland
Security has become a major defining training force utilizing
Personal Watercraft -K38 provides PWC rescue boat courses for
law enforcement, military, lifeguard, fire department including
other types of professional agencies and athletes from kite
surfing, tow surfing, wake boarding, competition, movie stunt
and safety management included. Shawn Alladio of K38 Water
Safety; personally manages safety for big wave surfing and
IJSBA racing events and other promotional on water activities
along with trained staff members.
Shawn Alladio is a motivational speaker for corporations
and groups that want to improve communications, team work
and problem solving. She is the creator of mentorship and
career development programs for youth for both male and females
in competitive sports and creating goals towards direction
in employment. This ongoing relationship with various water
related communities worldwide, the continuing development
of Yamaha products, combined with dedication and knowledge,
create an evolution of experience on the part of Shawn Alladio
and her organization that is unequaled worldwide in so many
diverse formats.
K38 Water Safety Goals
Ongoing efforts of K38 Water Safety and our instructor and
affiliate base, leading PWC rescue boat instruction, education
and providing on water safety management for special events
worldwide, including motion picture industry and other
media outlets, mentorship and motivational programs nationally
and internationally
To promote membership with our online website for newsgroup
information and archives relative to PWC use for rescue and
patrol, or safety related data
Partnership programs with International Affiliates in Italy,
Brazil and South Africa and Australia
To develop and establish State, National and Federal training
workshops nationally and internationally for the advancement
of boating safety using Personal Watercraft with the advance
of newer technology for boating education and field work.
Ongoing commitment training the United States Special Forces
waterborne divisions within the United States Navy, the United
States Marine Corps and continued development of anti-terrorism
programs utilizing personal watercraft for safety and protection
To produce educational materials
in cooperation with Boating Safety Organizations, Associations
and Administrators, to
facilitate and expand annually on personal watercraft boating
education worldwide, including printed materials, training
DVD’s and training manuals and workbooks
Participate in educational forums, panels, conferences and
exhibitions or other types of venues on-water, classroom,
or editorial programs and or projects that will expose Personal
Watercraft education to various user groups and forums
Produce and maintain an on-line
PWC Recognition award ‘K38
Wake of Fame’. Annual record for notable persons involved
in Personal Watercraft since its inception, from all aspects
of use worldwide
Create, develop and produce national and international PWC
training programs for recreational and occupational use in
various types of waterways worldwide
Provide leadership on Personal Watercraft and water safety
related issues
Produce an annual K38 Awards program and to expand awareness
of the program through the efforts of the PWIA (Personal
Watercraft Industry Association) for their dedication to
the Law Loan Program and our Associate Partners
